We want a "charity charger" in every bar and company reception
Its a simple concept: in return for borrowing the Juice Jack, stickers on each charger invite guests to text a £1 charity donation with a simple one word text message (eg. if you text WILLIAM to 88080, the money goes to William's Fund - see below). Donations are entirely voluntary, but every little helps, and either way the host and/or sponsor generates goodwill.
It can work with any charity or sponsor!
Our default charity is William's Fund who we'd obviously love you to support BUT alternative charities/sponsors can easily be incorporated, with separate SMS keywords to channel donations.
Jack's special charity:
William's Fund raises money for research into childhood cancers, and primarily the work being carried out by a specialist team at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, England.
The fund was established in memory of William Dodd, a little four year old boy who died in December 2000.
Every penny raised by the fund goes directly to the research programmes.
