Jack's "Charity Charger" Campaign
It's a simple goal
We want every business (and home) to have a phone charger for their guests to borrow, and give guests the option to text £1 to charity to say thank you, using the phone they've just charged.
Everybody wins, and nobody need run out of juice ever again!
How it works
The Juice Jack comes with stickers which invite guests to make a £1 donation with a simple one word SMS text message (eg if you text the word WILLIAM to 88080 the money goes to William's Fund - see below. Feel free to test it out - William's Fund will appreciate your donation!)
A "thank you" auto-response acknowledges each donation and £1 is deducted from the phone account. Juice Jack Ltd forward money received to the charity less network operator charges and a 3% management fee.
It's fully managed, and being text-based there's no cash or hassle - all you have to do is buy the charger and make it available for your guests!
You don't have to use the stickers or make a donation

It works with any charity or sponsor!
Our default charity is William's Fund who we'd obviously love you to support BUT alternative charities/sponsors can easily be incorporated, with separate SMS keywords to channel donations.
Jack's special charity:
William's Fund raises money for research into childhood cancers, and primarily the work being carried out by a specialist team at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, England.
The fund was established in memory of William Dodd, a little four year old boy who died in December 2000.
Every penny raised by the fund goes directly to the research programmes.
